Wednesday Team Blindside hit the soccer courts yet again. This team we played were hilarious so fucking serious. There was some awesome "talk" from their team like "Come on boys think about it" and "unselfish play good work boys and such and such. Unselfish play? I'm the master of unselfish play, as soon as I get that round thing I'm very keen to get rid of it, regardless of where it goes.

The team chatter of the opposing team of the night without doubt was, and I shit you not, "come on boys there hasn't been much talk this half". On the flipside our team chatter mainly comprised of me screaming at myself "I'm fucked at this game" after missing shots to which the ref wasn't too happy with.

Thursday night it was off to the WWE RAW Ruthless Aggression Wrestling Tour with Clint. Ah yes professional wrestling, my secret shame! We had pretty good seats as we were in the first row of the 3rd section so no one was in front of us = sweet. It was pretty fun time.

After that Clint dropped me home and then I went down to South Yarra as this girl I know was running a little nightclub thing and had invited me down. The place was cozy and ok but the girl said she didn't like the Simpsons said she didn't like it that much as the animation wasn't that realistic!!! What the fuck? I was like "IT'S A CARTOON, A CARRRRRRTOOOOOOON". She said the little creature on Harry Potter had good animation. Um yep ok. I think someone is missing the point.

Friday I went into the city to see Mappy and the crew at PSC then went to see a show at the Comic's Lounge. I went to see this girl Penny Tangey whom I had written a piece in the comedy section of Beat Mag a few weeks back. She was pretty good a few of her punch lines could have been reworked a little, she reads out of her primary school yearbook which is very cute. I definitely liked her "I hate most things" cynical vibe = excellent.

There was this other guy with dreads that did a bit of bong humour but his "stories" conflicted each other, in one his dad left when he was a kid and in another he was driving with his dad so it didn't really make sense. I realise that most comics' "stories" are made up but at least they shouldn't be followed by a conflicting story.

The headline was Matt Hardy whose name was familiar but I didn't realise who it was. Of course those with cable would know he hosted the Big Schmooze on the comedy channel. Fortunately he was a lot funnier than that show usually was. At points he was really good layering a punchline with further jokes to milk the pop he got.

The three guys (there was an opening guy also) all somewhat had very predictable punchlines half way through what they were saying, but I think that I try to think about what it's going to be without letting them get to it. Pretty much all drug jokes are very easy to decipher. Matt Hardy had a few bits where I had no idea of where he was going so that was pretty good, but his reliance on fart humour didn't thrill me to bits.

Came home and watched Seinfeld, ah the classics never fail.

Tonight is the PSC school uniform party and I've assembled quite the nerdy ensemble to kick it in. I'll take some snaps to post here during the week. Before that Tebb and I are going to finally see the Gator documentary. The party should be very very hollerable.

Oh god!

So yeah went to the Gator documentary with Tebb and hooked up with Drew and Mrs Webguy too. There were (not surprisingly) tons of skaters there, I understand why some people don't like me, but why do they put so much effort into it? Just hate me and move on with your life. Just a thought.

The film was amazing, definitely reminded me about how amazing the actual culture of skateboarding is and how much I love it with all the old footage of adverts, videos & comps etc. It was really fun and quite a celebration of skating until they get to the part about when Gator murdered Jessica, which was just terrible. They showed stills of how they found the skeleton, which almost had me in tears, just awful.

Got home and grabbed some food as I knew that my stomach would be receiving a beating tonight. Got my costume on as it was a school uniform party, grabbed some Henikens, a bottle of jagermeister and headed to Jo, Jerrod and Heaths house to reform TEAM JAGERMEISTER! Their house was a flutter of activity with a fair few crew over for pre-party drinks and a sick Foosball table that was ace fun.

We all dipped in to the bottle of Jager which didn't last too long! Then bused to the party, which was too fun. It was soooo fun and there were a lot of cool peeps to kick it with. Yager isn't the best for been a normal social people or making wise choices, but you live and learn I guess. But knowing me it's live and not learn, but I'm trying!

Just went and saw Dylan and Emily play at the Bridge Hotel and caught up with Wade, Steve and Ben. Got some info about some of the stuff I was getting up to at the PSC party, quite the public display apparently = NOT GOOD!

Lars sent me the first pic from Saturday night and he put in the nicknames he wanted everyone to call him and Nick. My pics are done at 4:00 today so I'll see if I can get 'em up tonight. In chatting to a few crew today some more memories are coming in so I guess some more will come back with the pics.

Well tonight I went with Steve Howe and Misch to see Blowing In The Wind which is a flick from the crew that did Spinal Tap, Best In Show etc. Very very funny movie but not blatantly obvious funny you sort of had to find the comedy. Harry Shearer's facials are to die for.

Too late to do the pics but they are coming, up there is another gem from Lars.

I'd also like to publicly acknowledge that although most weekends I do very stupid things without regret, Saturday night was regretful for a few reasons. Some of you know some and only a few know the others.

Seinfeld & sleep time me thinks.

FUCK AUSTRALIAN TV

I read in the paper today that Sean Micallef's show got axed by channel fucking nine today!!! Aggghhhh. Now the Panel is about the only Australian show I can bare to watch (hopefully they can have Sean back on again every few weeks = pleeeeease). In the meantime over at Ten we still have the new millennium's Darrel Summers in Rove doing fine with his taped infomercial show, I mean "live" "variety show". How it can be called live when half of it is either a taped or via satellite plug to buy an album or see a movie is beyond me.

Any the company turned out to be pretty good. Mainly talked to these two school friends of Clare's who were good fun. Long time readers of the site will remember the girl "Angry Emma" banned me from having anything to do with after I met her for like 3 minutes one night, well she was there and was cool too, although she said I made fun of her too much. And to think I was going easy?

Last night I had a goodbye dinner with Benny Turnbull who is in England for a month or so, also in the mix was Mrs Darren Kirby (the artist formally known as Anna Kimba) which was fun. Ben being away will keep me from his evil nightclubs for a month and then I'm in California for 2 weeks (SF/LA/SD) for the tradeshow season so I should be keeping out of trouble for like almost 2 months = doubt it! Also holla to Cassie who I was lucky enough to bump into last night!

Tonight Shaun and Craig are coming up to play video games for shots!!! Should be very WRONG!!!

Golden Voice Stu Harvey sent me an e-mail letting me know that the Descendents are on Fat Wreck Chords and have a new album coming out = WHOA!!!

My pal Prior sent me this huge e-mail that contained this pearl of wisdom...

Thursday night I MC'ed a competition on the stage at the Metro to win backstage tix to livid. I had the first round as trivia, the second as limbo, the third was arm wrestling and then a final trivia. It was pretty fun and the crowd seemed pretty into it. A fair few people came up and gave props afterwards so I guess my job as entertaining guy worked.

My brother Craig and Jamie's older sister Caz came out with me which was super fun. Caz was spinning out about me doing the MC thing, she thought it was hilarious as I guess she remembers me as Jamie's little skater friend.

I kept myself out of any predicaments unlike a few of my friends (with each other = HA HA HA) but got fairly toasted after I finished and felt like crap in the morning.

Friday night I was going to see Penny Tangey do a (comedy) set in the city but I fell asleep on my couch pretty much right after work. DAMN! I really wanted to meet her AGGGHHHH. I had some feedback from the last time I saw her on how to make this one but of hers better, but alas I will have to save it. She will probably won't appreciate the advice but oh well.

Saturday I went skating with Tebb, Koby and his mate Russell. We saw a fair few people out on the sesh like Al Wilson, Sam and Tim so that was fun, although skating by yourself is better. Koby is so ridiculously good its ace. That night I went to Andrew Joe and Jarrod's house and drank and watched videos with them and Ben Hoban all night. Pretty funny stories to be heard fo ral!

Tonight my soccer side TEAM BLINDSIDE played pretty well we were 4 nil down in the first half but in the second we picked up playing like 3 to 1 in our favour. We need one more guy on the bench and we'll be sweet. That sport is fucking a cardio nightmare, it killed me tonight.

Well I have sort of caught up so there ya go!

MONDAY 25th August 10:35pm

For some reason I couldn't upload any updates last week but it's fixed now. Word to the people who e-mailed there complaints to me!

Mid September is my yearly Bungie Party and I'm hiring this adult sized and theme jumping castle, it's going to be hot. E-mail me if ya need party details. If ya didn't know the Bungie is my infamous Bungalow in Rosebud at my parents house. It was the setting for many a pre party meet up spot, party spot, after party spot, hangover den etc etc.

This is going to get out of control!!! This puppy is 5 by 6m's.

Why is it that now Micallef's show is done that Who Wants To Be A Millionaire now finishes on time? AGGGHHHHHH

I had some free tickets to go see American Pie the wedding so I ended up going two nights in a row, once with Mark Keenan and once with Clint. I'm a big American Pie fan so I was really looking forward to this one. It was a little strange as half of the friends are not in the film or even mentioned at all you'd think they would have their best friends at the wedding considering they have the two MILF kids there!!!

A few of the characters seamed a little off what they had been previously especially Stifler who instead of just being annoying and loud (two words often used to describe me) he was really really obnoxious (another word often used in relation to me!) in the first half of the film. It was definitely not up to the standard of the first two but was pretty good non-the less. It made me pine for going to a wedding, as they are so fun.

Thursday night I worked on the stage at the metro again to give away backstage tix to Livid. This week we started with a dance comp with about 10 people where the music changed style every 20 seconds. These two girls were dirty dancing with this one guy it was hilarious, both the guy and the crowd loved it.

The crowd had to "wooo" for their favourite dancer which if you have ever watched Wrestling is Ric Flair's catch word so to me that was funny. Then it was down to 3 and the first person that drank a large slurpie and a bottle of Yakult (I mean that funny bacteria milk shit). Now this was funny, very funny. As you know drinking a slurpie fast gives you a headache and with 1000 plus people and some mongol on a microphone egging you on ya going to pound that slushed up sugar pretty fucking fast. The shot of bacteria just added to the hilarity, one dude looked like he was going to pass out from the headache and another almost spewed and that my friends is what I call entertainment!

Friday night it was back to using free movie tickets to see The Italian Job, and who better than to go with my favourite freeloader Jamie Kennedy. Sadly Jamie, who is well known for his ability is also well known for falling asleep during films and tonight would be no different. But I need to backtrack a little...

...So it was allocated seating and they had seated everyone in the middle row and if possible I like to be as far as possible away from everyone in fear of talkers (except for me) and the like. I noticed a couple two row back against the wall that had the same idea as me and were having a bit of a pash before the flick. Now mid movie I had Jamie snoring next to me which was kind of annoying yet amusing, but I had this guy heavy breathing behind me which was just plain annoying with no humorous quality. This was until I had a slight glance behind me to see the girl's arm moving rather indiscreetly up and down which was the cause of this heavy breathing phenomena. Yep the dude was coping an in movie handjob!!! Save it for the gold class buddy!!!

Once Jamie woke up I told him and at the end of the flick we caught the dude fixing his pants up after his little mid flick relief.

Saturday I seshed with Koby but it rained from like 2:00 onwards so it was pretty wack! That night was the highly anticipated PIRATE PARTY which was amazing!!! I'll save the run down for when the pic's come back.

Off to California on Saturday = WHOA!!!
